About the role
As our Corporate Counsel, Intellectual Property Americas, you'll help protect and strengthen the LEGO brand's intellectual property portfolio across the Americas. • Built effective partnerships with business stakeholders and senior leaders while providing practical legal recommendations
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.), LL.M., or equivalent law degree.
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Massachusetts or become registered in-house counsel.

  • Partner with stakeholders to balance legal risk management with practical business needs
If you've worked in a role where you advised on complex intellectual property matters, managed enforcement actions, and translated legal issues into business-focused recommendations, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to deliver sound legal guidance, influence decisions, and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
Life on the team
You'll join the Legal, Compliance & Responsibility Americas team within the CFO organization, reporting to the VP & General Counsel, Americas. We're a connected team working across Boston, Mexico City, Monterrey, Richmond, Billund, London, and Shanghai. Our hybrid rhythm helps us stay close to one another while partnering across legal disciplines and business functions. Success comes from thoughtful problem solving, strong communication, adaptability, learning agility, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and geographies.
What success looks like
You'll become a trusted advisor who helps protect the LEGO brand while navigating complex intellectual property challenges across diverse jurisdictions. Over time, you'll help strengthen enforcement programs, support closer alignment between regional and global strategies, and expand stakeholder education efforts.
