Are you a skilled accounting professional looking to work in a position where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills are appreciated? Villari Foods is adding an Accounts Payable Clerk to the accounting team. Main responsibilities of this role include ensuring vendor payments and data are processed in a confidential and timely manner. Our Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing an average of three related entities and assisting in other accounting related areas as needed. If you have at least two years of experience in accounting and experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, we want to talk to you! Job Duties:

Process disbursements for vendors based on reconciliation of invoices, purchase

orders, and receiving documents

Obtain all necessary signatures and approvals for invoices

Prepare payments and corresponding remittance information for each vendor

Organize documents based on proper classification and accounting codes and input into QuickBooks

Process credit applications for potential vendors and obtain all relevant paperwork

Assist with month end closing

Process and pay broker commissions and customer billbacks

Maintain purchase order system

Assist in other areas of the accounting department when needed


To qualify for this job, you must have:

High school diploma/GED

Relevant degree or course of learning in accounting strongly preferred

2 plus years of accounting experience (accounts receivable preferred)

Experience with QuickBooks

Experience with Microsoft Office
