Position Description
Cycle Zone Powersports is looking for a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to support our accounting, major-unit inventory, manufacturer programs, and office operations.
This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and accounting records, processing manufacturer rebates and incentives, reconciling accounts, reviewing deal paperwork, and helping with month-end close. The right person will have a solid accounting background, enjoy detailed work, and be comfortable taking ownership of important processes.
Inventory & Floorplan Accounting
  • Maintain accurate major-unit inventory records, costs, unit status, transfers, sales, and aged inventory in dealership systems.
  • Reconcile inventory and floorplan balances, review related costs and lender statements, and assist with physical counts and discrepancy research.
Manufacturer Rebates & Programs
  • Process and track manufacturer rebates, incentives, holdbacks, co-op funds, and other OEM programs, including required paperwork and deadlines.
  • Reconcile manufacturer receivables, follow up on unpaid funds, and work with Sales, F&I, Parts, and management to ensure programs are applied correctly.
Accounting & Month-End Support
  • Process vendor invoices and payments, reconcile vendor statements, accounts payable, receivables, and assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and review deal paperwork, payoffs, and funding for accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records and identify accounting errors, missing documentation, and process issues before they become larger problems.
Titles, Deal Jackets & Compliance
  • Process titles and registrations for new and pre-owned units, maintaining accurate title logs, lienholder information, and payoff documentation.
  • Review deal jackets for complete signatures, forms, scans, and required documentation.
  • Work with Sales and F&I to resolve missing paperwork, incorrect costs, incomplete deals, and funding issues.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of accounting, bookkeeping, inventory accounting, dealership office, or similar experience.
  • Experience with account reconciliations, accounts payable, inventory, and month-end close preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
  • Dealership, automotive, powersports, retail, manufacturer rebate, or floorplan experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort learning accounting and dealership software systems.
