Entry Level Immigration Attorney Jobs in Washington

Immigrants First, PLLC is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team in Manassas, Virginia.

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a candidate with hands-on immigration-law experience who can manage matters efficiently, communicate confidently with clients, and support attorneys in a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and filing immigration applications, petitions, motions, and supporting evidence;
• Managing case deadlines, document collection, client follow-up, and case-status updates;
• Communicating directly with Spanish-speaking clients in a professional and compassionate manner;
• Preparing filings before USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and other agencies, as applicable;
• Maintaining accurate case notes and ensuring files are complete and ready for attorney review.

Required qualifications:

• At least 2 years of immigration-paralegal experience;
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, because this role regularly serves Spanish-speaking clients;
• Demonstrated experience with immigration forms, evidence packets, deadlines, and client communication;
• Strong writing, organization, follow-up, and time-management skills;
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred experience includes removal defense, family-based immigration, humanitarian cases, and/or federal litigation support.
