Become a Key Player as a Financial Analyst 3

You will maintain and optimize IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 to ensure data integrity for forecasting and reporting, driving process improvements and automation that improve speed and accuracy. You will partner closely with IT and finance stakeholders to streamline forecasting workflows and provide technical support, training, and best practices. This role is Hybrid (San Jose, CA).

  • Maintain and optimize planning models (IBM Planning Analytics/TM1) and related data processes
  • Support forecasting processes, data validation, and consolidation for weekly outlooks, quarterly re-forecasts, and annual operating plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional, multi-stakeholder teams through data consolidations and reconciliation of inbound/outbound data sources and dashboards
  • Provide technical support and training to finance end-users; create custom reports and dashboards
  • Serve as a data quality steward by establishing policies and procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy across forecasting models and input forms
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to simplify workflows, automate tasks, and design new capabilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on special FP&A transformation projects
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with planning tools such as Hyperion Planning or IBM Planning Analytics/TM1
  • Strong Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), DBRW, and Excel skills
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidation processes
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
