Are you an experienced HVAC technician who takes pride in solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and doing quality work the first time? If so, we'd love to meet you.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while providing homeowners with honest recommendations and an outstanding customer experience. What You'll Do
  • Respond to residential HVAC service calls and diagnose heating and cooling system issues.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by educating homeowners on system performance, repair options, maintenance recommendations, and pricing.
  • Clearly communicate repair recommendations, obtain customer approval, document completed work, and collect payment when applicable.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
  • Install or replace residential HVAC systems and components as needed.
  • Perform refrigeration line set work, including brazing, flaring, swaging, and pressure testing using industry best practices.
  • Ensure all repairs and installations meet applicable safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and local building codes.
  • Maintain company vehicle, inventory, tools, materials, and equipment to ensure job readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, system replacements, maintenance agreements, and financing options that benefit the customer.
  • Prepare accurate job documentation, equipment lists, and scopes of work.
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and manufacturer training to continue developing your skills.

  • Successfully manage a full service schedule independently.

Qualifications
Required
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of residential heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.

Preferred
  • EPA Certification.
  • NATE Certification or other HVAC industry certifications.
  • Experience installing and replacing residential HVAC equipment.
  • Experience promoting maintenance agreements and system replacement options.

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed.
