Job description

A growing mechanical contractor in the Raleigh, NC area is seeking an HVAC Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in HVAC estimation who wants to work closely with field and project teams on commercial and industrial projects.
HVAC Estimator Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems on commercial and industrial projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop scope and pricing
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field staff throughout the estimating process
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and verify field conditions
- Support build-out and operations planning alongside the project team
- Maintain clear documentation of estimates, assumptions, and pricing changes
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
HVAC Estimator Requirements
- 2+ years of HVAC estimation experience
- Background in commercial and/or industrial HVAC projects
- Experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar role with estimating responsibilities is a plus
- Comfortable working closely with field staff and site teams
