Apartment (HVAC) Maintenance Technician
Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily apartment communities.
Job Description:
This is a multifamily apartment maintenance role, not an HVAC-only position. The Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units
  • Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process)
  • Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
  • Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers
  • Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness
  • Assist with renovation or property upgrade projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • EPA Universal Certification (required – no exceptions)
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on apartment or multifamily maintenance experience
  • Must own personal tools and HVAC gauges
