JOIN THE TEAM! Hammond Services is growing, and we are looking for qualified HVAC Maintenance Technicians who want to grow with us.
We are a family-owned and operated business that has proudly served the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. As a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company, we take pride in delivering exceptional service while investing in our employees.
This is an entry-level position where you will perform basic HVAC maintenance and tune-ups. As your skills and knowledge grow, you'll have the opportunity to advance into a Service Technician role. The ideal candidate has completed HVAC training, has previous HVAC experience, or possesses strong mechanical aptitude and technical abilities.
This position requires travel to our Griffin office for up to six weeks of paid, on-the-job training.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Inspect equipment and determine maintenance or service requirements.
  • Communicate findings and recommended repairs to management.
  • Work closely with teammates to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Use company software to document work performed and collect customer payments when applicable.
What You'll Bring
  • HVAC training and/or previous HVAC experience preferred.
  • EPA Certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements (minimum driving age of 22).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage daily workload and work overtime when needed.
