Job description

We are looking for a motivated Entry Level HVAC Installer to join our installation team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the HVAC trade, develop hands-on skills, and grow into a long-term career in the industry. You’ll work alongside experienced installers, learning best practices for safety, quality, and customer service while honing your craft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Installers with installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial settings, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Duties could include rough in cutting, labor to move and stock equipment and materials, fire calking and duct sealing, assisting with lineset pulling and routing.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Provide exceptional work ethics, representing R&R Heating's commitment to excellence.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Valid EPA Certification
  • Willingness to sign up for Gas Mech 1 class after 6 months of hire
  • WA electrical and Idaho trainee card
  • Proven experience within the construction industry, work comfortably in the weather elements including rain, wind, cold and heat.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
  • A commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Experience in HVAC with a focus on commercial projects
  • Gas Piping, electrical, or low-voltage experience
  • Gas Mech 1
  • Ability to read job plans, blueprints, or layout drawings
  • Understanding of jobsite safety regulations and requirements
  • Familiarity with Service Titan
  • Procore knowledge
