Mobile HVAC Technician / Building Engineer Job Summary:
The Mobile HVAC Technician / Building Engineer performs building operations, customer service, and community enhancement and provide a safe environment for building tenants and visitors. Mobile HVAC Technician / Building Engineer will perform routine inspections, exterior checks, maintenance and repairs, and tenant work orders as required. Were looking for someone who will complete or assist with tasks related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within commercial buildings. Daily duties will include working with the property management team to perform repairs and /or preventive maintenance tasks as required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • $36 to $40 per hour depending on experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform service calls on HVAC equipment
  • Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications to building systems
  • Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance requests professionally
  • Work with other trade vendors to complete contracted work as required
  • Maintain records, reports, and evaluations, and provide recommendations regarding necessary building maintenance operations
  • Identify and help to order parts, materials, equipment, and supplies that are needed
  • Manage Building Management System (BMS) / Energy Management System (EMS) as directed by Property Manager
  • Maintain a clean engineering shop, mechanical plant, mechanical rooms, and general appearance
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform related work as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 - 10 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings
  • High-level experience and skills with all mechanical equipment
  • High-level experience and skills in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment
  • HVAC Journeyman's license not required but a plus
  • Basic technology skills necessary to manage work order applications on mobile phone and learn to operate
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Occasionally work overtime to perform necessary repairs or maintenance that are necessary to complete during weekend or off-hours
  • Must meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for 1 hour, and climbing ladders.
