HVAC Technician II

Location: Warren, OH
Pay: $3540/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | MondayFriday

We are hiring an experienced HVAC Technician II to join a fast-paced industrial maintenance team supporting commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This is a hands-on role for a skilled technician who takes pride in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and keeping critical systems operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDC controls, ventilation systems, and refrigerant systems
  • Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Perform system testing, equipment inspections, operational rounds, and root cause analysis
  • Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment, and service gauges
  • Read and interpret blueprints, control schematics, sequence of operations, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate service reports, operating logs, refrigerant logs, and preventative maintenance documentation
  • Support maintenance of chillers, boilers, and related mechanical equipment
  • Follow OSHA safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling practices
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance support
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • 2-year HVAC technical certification or state-approved HVAC license required
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration License required
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Experience working on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with HVAC controls and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
