Midwest Heating & Cooling is a quickly growing company in SE Wisconsin that services, maintains, and installs HVAC equipment for both commercial and residential clients. Our company was founded by two partners who have been in the HVAC industry for over 15 years.

Our Install Apprentices with go through training on the installation of heating and air conditioning systems.

Service Technician Apprentice Position Summary

Our Service Technician Apprentices will go through training on how to service heating and air conditioning systems.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with servicing or installing residential heating and cooling equipment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Purchase all required tools
  • Follow directions from the supervisor and/or dispatcher and complete in a timely manner
  • Communicate to the dispatcher when arriving and leaving the job site
  • Perform all duties and interact with clients per company's standards
  • Complete all required paperwork, forms, and invoices
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must pass background and drug check
  • Valid license and insurable driving record
  • Desire to pursue a career in the HVACR Industry
  • Ability to work from a 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
  • Willingness to self-study and learn basic HVAC terminology
  • Willingness to attend and successfully complete an accredited HVAC Course of study
  • Willingness to pursue and obtain industry-related credentials (EPA and NATE)
  • Commitment to developing & using customer service skills
  • Commitment to following all company policies and procedures
