WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You'll be the go-to person for a variety of essential tasks, including payroll processing, providing friendly and efficient support to our employees with their payroll questions, keeping payroll/HR records meticulously organized and up to date, assisting with bringing new team members on board, jumping in to help with a wide range of HR projects and initiatives, and ensuring everything behind the scenes runs like a well-oiled machine! We're looking for someone who is highly organized and detail oriented. Must be a fantastic communicator, both in writing and in person, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and payroll processing systems, be proactive, reliable, and ready to learn. Someone with a positive attitude and a desire to provide operational support.
YOUR ROLE:
Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll, verifying employee data, timecards, leave, and deductions. You'll respond to employee payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain meticulous payroll records in compliance with all regulations. You'll also prepare total compensation statements.
Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of our comprehensive benefit programs, including annual open enrollment. This involves processing benefits documentation, maintaining precise records, reconciling monthly benefit plan and HR service invoices, and liaising with benefit providers.
Employee Records & Relations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring strict adherence to data protection regulations. You'll process employee changes (new hires, terminations, promotions), help coordinate employee engagement initiatives like new employee orientation and recognition programs, and generate various HR documents and reports. Maintaining utmost confidentiality and discretion with sensitive employee information is paramount.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support: Provide administrative assistance for recruitment activities, including assistance in preparing new hire/onboarding and orientation documentation, as well as help maintain and update candidate databases and/or recruitment trackers.
Compliance & Documentation: Support the maintenance of compliant job descriptions and assist with administrative duties related to HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook compliance. You'll help ensure all HR practices and documentation comply with relevant regulations and labor laws, and support HR audits and compliance reviews.
Administrative Support: Offer general administrative assistance to the HR team and contribute to various special projects, such as training programs, onboarding/orientation preparation, benefit programs, and corporate events.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in an HR support role. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with HRIS and ADP payroll systems is a plus. A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
