What does an entry level HTML email developer do?

An Entry Level HTML Email Developer is responsible for creating, coding, and testing email campaigns using HTML and CSS. They ensure emails are visually appealing, functional, and compatible across different devices and email clients. Their tasks often include slicing designs, troubleshooting rendering issues, and optimizing emails for deliverability and compliance with best practices. Entry-level developers typically work closely with marketing teams and may use email marketing platforms to deploy campaigns.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level HTML email developer?

To thrive as an Entry Level HTML Email Developer, you need a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and email design best practices, typically supported by a relevant degree or coursework. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor), responsive design tools, and basic image editing software is commonly required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication help you excel in collaborating with designers and marketers.
