Job description

Summary - This is an entry-level, Spanish-bilingual position that primarily consists of web content data entry, Spanish-language content support, and some design work. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Considerable experience with Photoshop and InDesign is preferred, though candidates may expand these skills while on the job. 

Individuals will learn about the Studies Weekly product and will be expected to convert print media into an online format while helping ensure English and Spanish-language content is accurate and appropriately presented

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – 

  • Converting the print product to an online format for customer use
  • Reviewing and supporting Spanish-language content for accuracy, consistency, and quality
  • Requesting art assets, audio, and video creation from other departments
  • Creating curriculum-aligned printables for student use
  • Checking own work against company standards and verifying others’ work within the Web Content Department 
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other duties as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Participate in professional development, not less than 12 hours per year

Education and Experience – 

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required
  • Strong Spanish reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Google Platforms 
  • Comfortable using Apple Software
  • Some coding experience preferred but not required
  • Great attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies or errors in Spanish-language content

Physical Demands –

The employee is required to talk, hear, and see. At times, this position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend and descend stairs. Also to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys. The employee is also required to lift up to 20 lbs. Company travel may be required by car, plane, or other means of transportation.”
