TruBlue of Cuyahoga Valley is hiring an Entry-Level Home Service & Renovation Technician to support our growing renovation workespecially kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. If youre dependable, coachable, and take pride in clean, professional job sites, well train you to build real skills and grow a career in the trades.
This is hands-on work with a strong team, clear systems, and steady projects.

What Youll Do
Youll assist with and complete tasks that support kitchen, bath, and basement renovation projects, including:
  • Demolition and jobsite protection (plasticing, floor protection, dust control)
  • Drywall patching, finishing, priming, and painting
  • Trim work (baseboards, casing), caulking, and punch-list details
  • Basic carpentry (blocking, minor framing, repairs)
  • Flooring installation/repair (LVP, transitions, subfloor fixes)
  • Light plumbing and electrical tasks within your skill level (training provided; licensed partners when needed)
  • Installing fixtures and finishes (hardware, shelving, mirrors, accessories)
  • Keeping job sites clean, safe, organized, and homeowner-friendly
Youll also:
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners
  • Follow TruBlue systems and checklists to ensure quality
  • Document progress with photos and notes using a smartphone app (training provided)
What Were Looking For
  • Some experience in construction, remodeling, maintenance, or strong DIY work (school/work experience welcome)
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and show up on time
  • Attention to detailespecially on finishes and cleanliness
  • Comfortable using a smartphone/app for job details (training provided)
  • Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to/from the office (company vehicle used during work hours)
  • Basic hand tools (well provide a recommended list and help you get set up)
