Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Entry-Level Help Desk Technician for an onsite contract role in Honolulu, HI.

This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career IT professional with less than one year of experience who is looking to build hands-on help desk experience. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, proactive, and comfortable being mentored by more senior IT staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic Tier 1 support for end users
  • Help triage technical issues, gather information, and open support tickets
  • Assist with password resets, basic error messages, and general user questions
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate support tier
  • Image laptops and desktops using Microsoft MECM
  • Provision iPhones and iPads through the company s mobile device management system
  • Archive, wipe, and repurpose returned IT equipment
  • Support IT inventory cleanup and organization
  • Assist onsite IT lead with hands-on support tasks as needed
  • Provide meeting room support and guest Wi-Fi assistance

Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate or entry-level IT candidate with less than one year of experience
  • Strong interest in building a career in help desk or IT support
