Job description

Salary Range: $150,000 to $300,000 base + bonus
Locations: New York City
One of the world's largest hedge funds using innovative and cutting-edge technology, where data is fundamental to the investment process. This Quant Developer role offers the opportunity to work in highly collaborative, small, close-knit teams to design and build tools & platforms that drive quant research.
To be successful in this role, you'll be a talented engineer with effective communication skills. You'll be part of the team that builds analysis tools into a common platform to empower the group to work more effectively, easily share research and collaborate on ideas. In addition to providing shared frameworks, the team makes ideas and models production-ready and scalable so they can be applied in the systematic trading environment.
Requirements
  • BS or MS in a relevant and highly technical field (computer science, math, physics, etc.)
  • 6+ years' software development experience
  • Solid Python experience building high quality software
  • Strong interest in the research process and understanding business needs
  • Willingness and ability to own end-to-end engineering processes

Candidates must have US citizenship/Greencard or a valid H1B/TN Visa
