Job description

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.

Schedule and Location

Part-time positions available

Available PT shifts include:weekend day shift (Saturday & Sunday 7a-3p), swing shift (Friday & Saturday 3p-11p)), & overnight (Friday & Saturday 11p-7a)

Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines

Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans

Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities

Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests

Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation

Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time

Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license and current auto insurance

Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts

Ability to pass required background checks

Ability to complete job-related training and certifications

No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.
