Overview
As a Senior Technician, you will provide basic tech support and troubleshooting for various computer and networking hardware and software.
Your Impact
The essential functions of this position include:The essential functions of this position include:
• Basic hardware configuration of servers, desktops and laptops, routers and switches and operating systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs; escalate to engineers as appropriate
• Provide deployment and racking of hardware components both desk side and in a data center environment
• Serve the customer to ePlus' standards
• Be available to meet customer IT needs
• Work towards achieving industry-specific entry-level certifications: i.e.- CCNA, MCSE, Network+, Security+, etc.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required, technical school or college preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an IT profession
  • A+ certification
  • Good understanding of network/data center environments
  • Possess basic troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person
  • Professional demeanor and good communication skills
  • Able to come up with solutions quickly, in a fast-paced environment

Position Specifics
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an offer of employment is extended.
