What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Repair & Replace: Install and repair window screens, sliding screen doors, glass panes, and window hardware (balances, latches, operators).
- Measure & Assess: Take accurate measurements and assess customer needs for custom screen or glass fabrication.
- Parts Management: Keep track of workshop inventory, organize window/screen parts and hardware, and let the team know when stock is running low so we always have the right tools and materials for the job.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners, explaining repairs and providing excellent service.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and safely handle tools, ladders, and glass.
For Entry-Level Applicants:
- A strong desire to learn a valuable trade (we will teach you the technical skills and how to manage parts!).
- Basic comfort using hand tools and power tools (tape measures, drills, utility knives).
- Organized mindset and a willingness to help keep inventory tidy and counted.
