Golf Course Groundskeeper (Full-Time)
Hourly Rate: Â $18.00 /per hour to $24.00/per hour, depending on experience.
SUMMARY: To perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance of golf course grounds. Must be able to work as a team member to ensure the greens are kept in excellent condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Precision mow greens, tees, aprons, fairways, around trees, and other turf areas.
- Â Operate equipment, power tools, and hand tools in maintaining golf course.
- Â Verti-cut, aerate, and top-dress tees, greens, fairways, and other turf areas.
- Â Lay sod as required.
- Â Fertilize and spray tees, greens, fairways, and other turf areas with pesticides.
- Â Water golf course grounds per prescribed methods.
- Â Change cups and maintain flags and poles.
- Â Operate and maintain poser equipment used on the golf courses.
- Â Operate power equipment used on golf courses.
- Â Drive light and heavy vehicles.
- Â Maintain irrigation systems on golf courses.
- Â Knowledge of methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in golf course maintenance
- Â Ability to work as a team member to accomplish daily required duties and aide the new or less experienced worker.
- Â Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Â Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Â Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of the Paradise Valley Country Club.
