You will perform a variety of hands-on tasks that may be repetitive at times, including cleaning, light assembly, minor painting, and assisting with shipping and receiving, all with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Clean display windows thoroughly using appropriate cleaning solutions to ensure they are ready for shipment.
  • Use products such as glass cleaner to clean windows and surrounding areas, maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
  • Perform assembly and bolting of various window units for display using screw guns and cordless drills.
  • Read and use a tape measure for minor measurements to support accurate assembly and finishing work.
  • Use cordless drills to drive and secure screws into window units and related components.
  • Carry out minor painting and touch-up work on display units so they meet quality standards before shipping.
  • Assist with packaging and preparing display units and related materials for shipment.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities as needed, including moving, staging, and organizing materials.
  • Handle hand tools and power tools safely, including drills, saws, nail guns, and wrenches, as required for shop tasks.
  • Sand and perform basic finishing work on components to ensure smooth, presentable surfaces.
  • Work independently or as part of a team of 7–8 people, depending on the task and project requirements.
  • Lift and move materials and products, using team lifts for items over 50 pounds to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and use provided personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Be willing to work overtime when required to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Fulfill the full contract duration of approximately 3–6 months.

  • Comfort working in a shop environment, particularly in a wood-focused or similar setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in team lifts for heavier items.
  • Basic familiarity with cordless screwdrivers and drills, or willingness to learn and use them safely.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Reliability and commitment to fulfill a 3–6 month contract.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Approximately 6+ months of shop experience, preferably in a wood shop or similar environment, is a plus; hobbyist experience from home projects is also valued.
  • Experience with basic hand tools such as wrenches and manual screwdrivers.
  • Experience with power tools including cordless drills, saws, and nail guns.
  • Background in assembly, carpentry, construction, warehouse work, or packaging is beneficial.
  • Ability to use a tape measure for simple measurements.
  • Experience with painting, sanding, and other finishing tasks is an advantage.
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
Why Work Here?

You will work in a well-organized shop that values quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. The environment offers consistent hours, opportunities for overtime, and the chance to build practical skills with tools and assembly work. You can gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive setting that encourages reliability, attention to detail, and growth in shop and production-related skills.
