 Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

CETCO (Colloid Environmental Technologies Company) is seeking a technical / business development support professional to execute our HydroShield Quality Assurance Program as well as provide training and other support functions to our customers throughout North America.  The selected individual for this position will be based in Hoffman Estates, IL.  This is an entry level position with an outstanding track record of career advancement. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full Support of CETCO's HydroShield Quality Assurance Program
  • Day-to-day customer service calls related to (but not limited to)
  • Review 3rd party independent inspection reports & address all action items
  • Day-to-day communication within our customer base, company sales dept, general contractors, approved applicators, certified inspectors and consultants, etc.
    • Technical application questions
    • Submittal information and documentation
    • Inquiries relating to local territory contacts
    • General questions about CETCO's HydroShield Quality Assurance Program
    • Warranty questions and processing
    • Project close-out punchlist and post-construction questions
    • General waterproofing product & installation-specific inquiries
  • Maintain current project files & update with most current information / documentation
  • Perform CETCO Certified Inspector Training - classroom and field
  • Full involvement and understanding within Salesforce, AA Portal and STD Warranty Portal
  • Assist Customers & CETCO outside sales team with technical questions from the field - job specific
    • Not standard information found in our literature or specifications
  • CETCO warranties - obtain documentation, review file information and process
  • Investigate post-construction warranty claims
    • Obtain Information / documentation for review
    • Assist customers within the phases of any remedial process / plan of ation
    • Generate work orders and purchase orders as part of the plan of action
  • Monthly reporting associated with Field Services activities.

OE/Lean

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing, supporting and achieving OE and lean goals and initiatives through the following:

  • 5S, inventory reduction, process flow mapping, value stream mapping, visual management, standard work, Kaizen events, statistical process control, and Total Productive Maintenance
  • Leading the team in a continuous improvement work environment
  • Supporting quality teams and management with OE initiatives and actively suggests opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: The ideal candidate is a degreed professional with an education in construction management, civil, industrial or environmental engineering, architecture or geology. Industry equivalent or technical experience would be considered in lieu of a construction focused degree.

Candidates should exhibit exceptional communication / interpersonal skills. Additional consideration will be provided for candidates with substantive public speaking / presentation or sales process experience. A self- motivated individual with the ability to act independently yet accountably, carry out annual objectives in alignment with the company business strategy in support of territory action plans - candidates must be customer focused with an inherent sense of urgency. 

Travel:     Typical travel commitment will range from 15-25%.
