Job Overview:

Job Summary
Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking Natural Gas Laborers in Fort Pierce, FL to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas distribution systems. This entry-level position involves physically demanding work in various weather conditions, primarily supporting skilled craftspeople.
Job Responsibilities-

  • Perform manual labor tasks including digging trenches, shoveling, backfilling, and operating hand tools.
  • Assist in the installation of natural gas pipelines, services, and related infrastructure.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Perform flagging duties to control traffic around work sites.
  • Assist with pipe fusion, fitting, and testing procedures as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Operate small power tools and equipment under supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.


Job Qualifications-

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction, labor, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
