Job Title: IT App Developer III

Location: Charlotte NC

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Type: Contract

Note: Location: Remote, required to be within 1-2 hour commutable distance in one of the following Corning office locations: Corning, NY; Charlotte, NC; Vineland, NJ; Phoenix, AZ; Hemlock, MI; Hickory, NC; Blacksburg, VA; Keller, TX; Boston, MA - (Tewksbury, MA & Bedford, MA). REQUIRED to report onsite for equipment pickup on first day of assignment. May be expected to report onsite within first two weeks of start for training meetings. Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm, no OT anticipated. Interview Process: One Hour Panel Video Interview. Video is required to be no blur/background. Possibility of extension, based on demand. Travel: Up to 15% travel possible - based on project need.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, enhance, and upgrade existing software solutions to ensure performance and reliability
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MES integrations with manufacturing systems and equipment
  • Create and execute unit, integration, and system tests while documenting code, APIs, and system architecture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Management, IT, or related field (required)
  • Strong experience delivering production-ready applications in enterprise or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to contribute to CI/CD, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
