Job description

XLA is looking for a Senior Web Developer to support a federal agency in Arlington, VA. This position requires the candidate to be eligible to obtain a U.S. secret security clearance and is onsite position Monday-Friday. 

Candidates must be local to the Arlington, VA area to be considered.

Salary: $140,000

Required Skills:

  • .NET (web frameworks, libraries, unit testing frames, and design best practices)
  • Vue3 (or similar front end framework like React or Angular - Vue is preferred)
  • JavaScript 
  • HTML
  • CSS/CSS Framework like Bootstrap
  • SQL/data modeling and experience working with relational database for data persistence.
  • Familiarity with Git and common code branching strategies
  • Involved in all phases of the application development process from requirements, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance
  • Responsible for full stack web application development using Microsoft .NET technology and Oracle RDBM
  • Strong skills in frontend frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular (preferably Vue) and have strong knowledge of .NET web application development frameworks and libraries.  This includes front end Single Page Application (SPA) development, well-structured middle tier API/Services, and data model design/implementation.  

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with accounting systems like CGI Momentum software or other COTS product.
  • Experience development applications to Financial Management controls/business processes.
  • Experience using AWS Kiro for AI assisted code generation.
  • AWS certifications (developer, architect, AI, etc).  
  • Experience with Oracle PLSQL or Oracle DBA experience
