POSITION SUMMARY

The Software Development Engineer will be part of a team who are performing state of the art work using technology in the AI field for Specialty pharmacy in the Benefit Verification domain. This team member will work under the direction of other Staff and Senior Software Development Engineers to architect, design, build, and deliver solutions that drive our roadmap that in turns drives our business and technology strategy and solution forward for the Specialty pharmacist. The position is an individual contributor role. This position will be a hands on developer role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2+ years of experience in systems analysis and application program development
  • At least oneyear of development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java,Java,C++, Python
  • 1+ year of experience with Agile software development
  • 1+ year experience in building Enterprise solutions and technical solutions
  • 1+ year experiencewith AI/generative AIsolutions and technologies
  • 1+yearexperience with Confluent Kafka, oropen sourcedistributions
  • 1+ year experience using AI LLM models such as Gemina, Claude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters' Degree Preferred
  • The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • 1+ years of experience working across research and engineering
  • Experience working with distributed teams, working across multiple time zones and geographies.
  • Experience in the health and wellness domain
  • Experience working as full stack development when needed

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
