Description

SAP Development focuses on designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that enhance and optimize key business processes. As part of the team, the SAP Application Engineer helps deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance systems by leveraging advanced technologies to solve complex business challenges and support strategic organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack cloud applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, React JS, or Vue JS.
  • Create robust data models and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs for consumption by diverse frontend applications.
  • Oversee the complete application lifecycle, encompassing development to production deployment.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in performance tuning on JVM and Garbage Collectors, utilizing application monitoring tools such as DynaTrace and JConsole.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and facilitate integration with SAP Fiori/UI5 frontends.
  • Design & Develop the MCP Client / MCP Server
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of full-stack development experience in Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, or SAP UI5, REST/SOAP-based APIs
  • 2 years of Web, Spring Security, and Spring Integration
  • 2 years of experience in developing, deploying applications using SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, AWS, or Google Cloud Platforms
  • 2 years of experience working with MySQL, Oracle, SAP Hana
  • 2 years in backend development using Java and extensive experience in data modeling
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent years of professional work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues
  • In-depth knowledge of system design principles and practices
  • Proven experience in developing applications using Java programming language
  • Extensive experience in utilizing Spring Framework components such as Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, and Spring Integration
  • Experience in designing and adopting cloud design patterns and principles
  • Proven ability to develop and consume REST APIs
  • Practical knowledge of SQL/NOSQL databases like SAP HANA, Oracle, MongoDB
  • Experience in developing applications using event-driven architectures such as Kafka or SAP BTP Event Mesh
  • Experience in building high-throughput and low-latency applications
  • Proficiency in utilizing Git and CI/CD pipelines for software development
  • Experience in handling static code analysis tools and fixing Sonar or security vulnerabilities
  • Proficiency in building applications to monitor and debug using logs via Splunk or Kibana indexes
  • Proficiency in using DynaTrace or other application monitoring tools
  • Expertise in software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
  • Familiarity with software design principles adhering to the cloud-first approach
  • Proficiency in SAP technologies and frameworks, including SAPUI5, CAPM Java, and other SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services
