Position: Flight Ops Full-Stack Software Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Position Description:
DZYNE Technologies is seeking a Full-Stack Web Application Developer to design and build internal tools that streamline operations and improve team workflows. You will embed with our Flight Operations team and observe their manual workflows to discover points ready for automation. From these observations, you will develop web-based systems that make complex processes simple and efficient - from data integration to real-time dashboards - helping teams move faster and work smarter. You will create clean, intuitive front-end interfaces and build robust back-end APIs and databases. The ideal candidate is a developer who loves quickly addressing real-world needs with elegant, maintainable software.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop internal web applications and dashboards to support flight operations, ground check out, and system testing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand workflows and pain points to rapidly prototype solutions.
  • Build, test, and deploy full-stack applications using modern front- and backend frameworks (React, Node, Postgres or other databases).
  • Design and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable codebases.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and full-stack web development.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile tools.
  • Familiarity with virtual machines and cloud platforms for hosting
  • Familiarity with Docker deployment
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments, both in and on-site, with evolving requirements.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience integrating software tools with real-time data or hardware systems.
  • Gitlab CI/CD pipeline scripting
  • Exposure to DevOps best practices
  • Experience working with teams that operate physical systems (IoT, robotics, or similar)
  • Drone software exposure

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Salary: $105,000-$130,000 annually
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
