Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid Level) Active TS SCI Required
On-site – must be located in or willing to relocate to Aurora, CO Shyft Solutions is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development of mission critical applications in a secure, high impact environment. This role focuses on building scalable software systems, integrating with mission platforms, and supporting modern deployment practices. You will work across the stack, developing backend services, user interfaces, and system integrations that enable reliable and secure operations. This is a good fit for someone who understands how software components interact within larger systems and enjoys building applications that operate in complex, distributed environments. What You’ll Do:
* Develop and maintain full stack applications supporting mission operations
* Design and build backend services and APIs that integrate with distributed systems
* Create responsive front end applications using React
* Implement integrations using REST and XML based services
* Work with noSQL databases and data driven applications
* Support containerized deployments and CI CD pipelines
* Contribute to system design and architecture decisions
* Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions
* Collaborate with integrators, system engineers, and other developers across the program
* Support testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications
* Use tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence for development and tracking Required Qualifications:
* Active TS SCI
* Experience developing software in Java
