About the Role

Jereh is hiring a Mechanical Assembler - Hydraulics for our Houston shop operation at 7501 Miller Rd #2. This role is built for someone who already knows the work. We are looking for a candidate with real experience in mechanical assembly, hydraulic systems, hydraulic blueprint reading, hand and power tools, and industrial shop execution. This is not an entry-level assembler role and it is not a training position. The right person will be able to step into an active production environment, work from prints and instructions, support shop flow, and contribute with limited ramp-up.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform mechanical and structural assembly work according to drawings, work instructions, blueprints, and production requirements
• Read and interpret hydraulic blueprints and assemble components correctly
• Support welding and fabrication teams through material preparation, staging, fit-up support, and shop readiness
• Move inbound, outbound, and in-process parts and components throughout the shop
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively
• Assist with general labor activities that support production schedules and shop throughput
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Identify material shortages, tooling needs, and equipment issues and communicate them to the Production Coordinator or Supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
• Support proper storage, organization, and handling of parts, tools, and materials

Qualifications

• Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, oilfield equipment, or heavy mechanical shop environment
• Direct experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic blueprints
• Hydraulic experience and familiarity with hydraulic systems and components
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, and material handling
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction in a production environment
