Title: Production Assembly Technician
OverviewÂ
Tessco is searching for a detail-oriented production Bench Technician to join our team in Reno, NV. Communication and teamwork are paramount. We require an individual that works well in a team environment under stressful situations and someone who is a self-starter capable of working alone on smaller projects. You will also aid in troubleshooting builds and production runs. Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Communicate efficiently with a team during high stress jobs to ensure every product is built to specification
- Read basic mechanical and electrical documentation
- Use of various tools to complete builds
- Use of cherry picker/wave/forklift to retrieve components as needed (must be able to tolerate heights up to 20 feet)
- Quick and efficient troubleshooting of build issues within a team environment
- Pick parts from our warehouse utilizing our internal systems
- Packing the finished units into boxesÂ
QualificationsÂ
- Team oriented and deadline conscious
- Strong communication abilities in a professional environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to interpret entry level mechanical and electrical schematics
