ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Operation and set-up of machining centers
  2. Ability to read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
  3. Operate forklift to unload steel and dump chip hoppers
  4. Basic knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards
  5. Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturing
  6. Able to meet specific deadlines
  7. Interface with all departments and levels of management

EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in machine operation, preferred
  • Experience driving forklift, preferred
  • Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
