Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our hot pot restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position is essential to ensuring smooth service and an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner

• Ensure all hot pot ingredients, soup bases, and side dishes are presented correctly

• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers regarding orders and special requests

• Assist servers by refilling water, clearing used plates, and resetting tables

• Help maintain the cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and walkways

• Support opening and closing side work as assigned

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

• Assist with restocking supplies when needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs
