A Bartender is responsible for providing excellent, efficient customer service to all guests, with a focus area of the bar. Bartenders will ring in food and drink orders, make drinks, provide excellent service, bus the bar, and do prep for service.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service
  • Greeting guests upon arrival.
  • Providing excellent customer service during guests dining experience, from entry to the restaurant through departure and everything in between, with a focus on the bar.
  • Memorize the menu at your location.
  • Memorize cocktail recipes for your location.
  • Cash handling.
  • Ability to complete internal health audits.
  • Sanitation
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Maintain beverage and salsa stations.
  • Clean bathrooms.
  • Sanitize and wipe down tables and other surfaces.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as directed by your supervisor.
  • Prep
  • Portion out prepared food for service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand on their feet for 8 hours uninterrupted.
  • Able to be stationary for multiple hours at a time completing repetitive tasks.
  • Able to move quickly throughout the restaurant.
  • Able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant.
  • Able to work in excessive heat and cold associated with the kitchen environment.
