Overview

We are seeking a motivated Developer (Level 1) Intern.  In the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), an application developer plays a key role in transforming business ideas and concepts into functional, reliable applications. The developer ensures that the solution accurately reflects business processes, rules, and objectives, and works closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to deliver outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

This role is designed for a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program and ready to start their internship as a Developer.

Location: North York, Toronto, ON - Fully On-site - Monday through Friday

Work Term: 16 weeks (paid internship placement)

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in software development or IT project environments.
  • Knowledge on one of more of the below technical skills
  • C#, PHP, Vue JS, Node JS, SQL, PL/SQL, Korn shell
  • MS Azure Cloud, IIS
  • Oracle Db, SQL Server Db and Cosmos Db
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Proficiency with collaboration and requirement management tools such as Jira.

Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
