Job description

SOLVERE is seeking a Flight Test Engineer that will serve as the primary engineering counterpart to the Flight Test Pilot. This role is responsible for the rigorous technical planning, airborne data acquisition, and post-flight engineering analysis aspects of the test program.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft detailed ground and flight test plans, instrumentation plans, and test cards that trace directly back to system capability requirements.
  • Operate complex Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), telemetry, and test instrumentation hardware in-flight to capture critical aircraft parameters.
  • Perform post-flight data reduction, statistical analysis, and engineering evaluation of flight test data.
  • Author comprehensive, formal technical test reports detailing test methodologies, findings, system deficiencies, and airworthiness recommendations.
  • Represent APAC test and evaluation interests at Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), and Safety Review Boards (SRB).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in technical field.
  • 2 years experience in technical field.
  • One (1) year experience with planning and conducting tests.
