Entry-level staff position intended to further develop instructional and supervisory skills toward advancement in the aviation industry; provides flight instruction per FAA guidelines 61 and 141 in both the classroom and flight laboratories; provides flight training approved under Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 61 and 141 in the classroom, in the ground school and in the flight labs; evaluates student performance and progress; tests students for knowledge; makes recommendations for further training; maintains accurate records; serves as lecturer for Academic ground courses; position is dedicated to flight and associated ground instruction;

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and an Instructor's Certificate with an instrument rating are required; airplane single engine land class and Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor-Airplane strongly desired;

one year experience as an active Flight Instructor strongly desired; 2 year's experience as CFI or 200 hours dual given strongly desired; experience with Part 141 flight school strongly desired; MEI preferred; instructional activity within the previous 12 months preferred; one (1) year experience with OSU 141 curriculum preferred
