Job Description
The right team is more than an advantage, it's a game changer! Come work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers' Houston office. We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual with an interest in engineering to join our team as a Fire Protection Engineering Intern during the Spring/Summer 2027 break. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in an accredited fire protection engineering program.
Qualifications
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
  • Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree (preferred).
  • Applicants are preferred to be actively enrolled in a Fire Protection Engineering program or completing fire-protection-focused coursework as part of their engineering studies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail orientated and organized.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours during the Spring/Summer break. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship. No paid interview travel or relocation expenses are offered for this position.
