Job Overview

Jensen Hughes, Inc. (Columbia, MD) seeks Fire Protection Engineer (internal: Staff Engineer) to perform professional-level fire protection engineering services such as life safety code consulting, fire protection design. Req. B.S./B.A. in Fire Protection Eng. or rel. + 2 yrs. exp., incl exp. w/Fire Alarm Design; Sprinkler System Design; special hazard system design criteria; and design & simulation software: AutoCAD, Pathfinder, Consolidated Fire and Smoke Transport (CFAST), Pyrosim, and CONTAMW.
Must also have demonstrated knowledge of Fire Protection Equip. Testing & w/ Smoke Control Model. & Code Compliance Reviews thru academic coursework or experience. Approx. 35% dom. travel to various unanticipated domestic project sites throughout the US.
Sal. Range $92643-120495; competitive total rewards package, incl. retirement plan, healthcare coverage. Paid vacation/sick time; incentives and/or benefit packages may vary depending on the position and location. Potential yearly bonuses.ย
