Project Manager/Senior IT Consultant (Alfa Financial Software, Inc.; Royal Oak, MI): This role is responsible for understanding client requirements for Alfa System, devising solutions and ensuring that the successful delivery and implementation of the Alfa Systems solution for each client is fit-for-purpose. Specific responsibilities include: Scheduling work, gathering requirements, processing design, investigating software defects, integration design, assigning responsibilities, mentoring and conducting performance reviews for junior consultants on the team. Responsible for management of an implementation stream on a client project, including use of Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira, as well as issue tracking systems in use at client sites. Assisting clients with identification of changes required following the adoption of a feature in Alfa. Documentation of internal best practices and client process procedures. Preparing and delivering training sessions and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted. 20% of domestic travel to client sites.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Junior Consultant, Consultant Analyst or related.
Must have: 2 years of experience in the automotive, equipment finance industries, or related finance sectors. Experience must include each of the following: SQL queries with the ability to craft complete SQL statements over different RDBMS such as Oracle Database and PostgresSQL, Postman, Insomnia, SAP and JSON. Have a deep understanding of the asset financing industry, client business, process and usage of lending industry enterprise software systems.
