What you'll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to support existing Business Management Reporting (BMR) and Account Retention Tool (ART) applications on .NET tech stack. Contribute to the cloud transformation journey from on premises (On-Prem) to private cloud and eventually to public cloud. Work in collaboration with developers, Business Analysts and business across the Wealth Management department. Work on the full application lifecycle, agile development environment, by partnering with global IT and business stakeholders of the current platform to analyze requirements, conduct business analysis, propose designs for review by the wider team, implement and test the solution and finally provide training and support as part of the roll-out. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) days per week.

What you'll bring to the role:

-Requires a Master's in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a closely related field of study.

-Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, .NET Developer, I.T. Analyst, or a closely related occupation.

-Requires Three (3) years of experience with the following skills:

  • .Net Framework;
  • MVC.Net;
  • C#;
  • Entity Framework;
  • SQL Server;
  • Web API;
  • Angular;
  • JavaScript;
  • Node;
  • TypeScript;
  • HTML;

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
