Rose Financial Solutions (ROSE®) is seeking a Financial Operations Automation Associate who is looking for an entry-level role supporting the Finance and Operations teams in improving and streamlining financial workflows. This role assists with basic automation tasks, data maintenance, reporting, and process documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn new systems, and interested in how financial processes can be optimized through technology.

Your responsibilities vary based on your assigned department and clients, but are likely to include: Assist with routine financial process tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, quality checks, and updating schedules or trackers, Support the maintenance of financial workflows by ensuring data accuracy and flagging inconsistencies, Help document current workflows and maintain up-to-date process guides, Assist with building or updating simple automated workflows under the guidance of senior team members, Help test automations for accuracy and functionality, Monitor workflow performance (e.g., success/failure notifications) and escalate issues when needed, Learn and support basic functions within financial systems (ERP, billing systems, CRM integrations)., Help with user acceptance testing when system changes or upgrades occur, Maintain logs of system issues, improvements, and resolutions, Assist in preparing recurring reports by collecting data, verifying numbers, and formatting outputs, Update dashboards and templates as directed by the Finance Operations and Transformations and Product teams, Perform basic trend reviews and flag unusual variances for review, Respond to internal inquiries related to financial processes or documentation, Coordinate with team members across Finance, Operations, and IT to gather information or support small automation tasks, Participate in process improvement meetings and contribute observations from daily work, Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial processes (such as invoicing, expenses, or accounting principles).
  • Comfort using spreadsheets and digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, basic formulas).
  • Interest in learning automation or workflow tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate, Replit, Airtable).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn systems quickly and adapt to changing processes.
  • Experience with basic scripting or querying (Excel functions, SQL basics, Python fundamentals) Preferred.
