Position Summary:
The Financial Reporting / Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing student account financial reports, identifying discrepancies, and providing accurate reporting to support business and operational decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large data sets and financial information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze student account financial reports and related accounting data.
  • Run, validate, and interpret reports and queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Investigate discrepancies and reconcile financial data as needed.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support departmental operations.
  • Utilize reporting tools and databases to extract and analyze information.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams to resolve data issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of reporting processes and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and student account information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with financial reports, accounting data, or student account information.
