Position Summary

We are looking for a curious, driven, and technically savvy Senior Financial Data Analyst FP & A to supercharge our FP&A organization with accurate, timely, and actionable insights. If you thrive at the intersection of finance, data, and technology — and you love transforming data into meaningful dashboards, automated reports, and decision-ready analytics — this role is for you.


In this position, you will be the data engine behind strategic financial analysis, working closely with FP&A, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to expand our business intelligence, visualization, and reporting capabilities. You’ll help build the tools, systems, and automated processes that elevate how our company measures performance and makes decisions.


Your work will support core FP&A deliverables such as budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, with exposure to senior leadership as we evolve the drivers and KPIs that steer the business forward.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and automate financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using tools like Power BI, Power Automate, Claude, and similar AI/automation platforms.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reporting on business trends and performance
  • Leverage data manipulation techniques to assist in scenario analysis and multiple views for different audiences
  • Enhance data quality and integrity, improving reliability of financial outputs in support of core FP&A processes
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that inform business decisions
  • Assist in selection and implementation of modern EPM platform to support transformation of organizational financial data analysis capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine requirements and iterate on solutions for reducing manual effort and distraction in data analysis
Requirements:

Key Competencies

  • Skilled at identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies within large financial datasets
  • Strong understanding of FP&A functional responsibilities (budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis)
  • Proficiency in query/reporting tools, including but not limited to Power BI, Advanced Excel, SQL, and EPM tools
  • Highly detail-oriented - delivers work with minimal errors and exhibits strong quality control
  • Demonstrates high level of intellectual curiosity – questioning assumptions and exploring alternatives
  • Comfort working in fast-moving environments where data, tools, and business needs evolve quickly

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in financial data analysis, FP&A, financial systems, or corporate finance roles
  • Experience with modern querying, reporting, analysis, and automation tools
  • Familiarity with financial statements, budget models, ROI models, and data aggregation
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce as well as modern EPM platforms (e.g. Anaplan, OneStream, etc.)
  • Experience in healthcare entities or subscription-based models
