Classification: Full-Time

Compensation Structure: $70,000 - $85,000 annually + eligible for discretionary bonus and transaction commissions 

Schedule: Monday - Friday,  9 AM to 5 PM

Requirements

What You'll Do

The Acquisitions Analyst supports and drives the identification, evaluation, and execution of real estate acquisitions. This position plays a critical role in the financial analysis, underwriting, and due diligence of prospective investments in properties across multifamily, student housing, and mixed-use asset classes. The Analyst will also support select fund/capital formation and asset management initiatives.


Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Build, maintain, and stress-test comprehensive Excel models to support acquisitions, recapitalizations, and capital formation projects.
  • Assess proformas, rent rolls, operating budgets, comparable rents, and sales data to inform underwriting assumptions.
  • Conduct in-depth market research including demographics, employment trends, rent growth, supply pipeline, and submarket performance.
  • Coordinate due diligence across legal, financial, environmental, and physical inspections.
  • Draft investment memoranda, LOIs, presentations summarizing strategy, valuation, returns, and risks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field required
  • Entry-level (0-3) years of experience 
  • Experience in multifamily and or student housing preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and real estate analysis software is essential
  • Demonstrates curiosity and initiative in applying emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence
