What You’ll be Doing:

As the entry level HR Generalist, you will be joining our small but dynamic HR team! In this role you will gain diverse experience in all areas of HR from employee engagement, recruitment and new hire onboarding, group benefit and payroll administration, HRIS management and much more!


As the HR Generalist, you will:


  • Champion and promote the organization’s mission, vision, values, goals and strategic initiatives
  • Manage the life-cycle recruitment process: creating and promoting job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews and reference checks, and presenting employment offers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning and development opportunities in-house or with external vendors 
  • Facilitate employee onboarding
  • Administer Employee Engagement Surveys & the annual Employee Service Award Program 
  • Participate in all Company Committees; Social, Community Giving, Health and Safety Committees
  • Collect and analyze human resources data
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Administer the HRIS (BambooHR) including onboarding, training, performance management, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with employment related laws/practices


Who you are:    

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources 
  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • CHRP/CHRL Designation preferred or in progress
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Easily builds trust and confidence with people in an authentic and genuine fashion

The expected annual base salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $65,000 CDN.


The annual base salary is determined through comprehensive market research and considers factors including qualifications, skills, education, relevant experience, work location, internal equity, and alignment with local and industry market data. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Employees may also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including Employer RRSP matching. Salary ranges listed in job postings are subject to change.
