Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate schedules in a factory environment to ensure the most efficient flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments. 

  • Assist in analyzing and delivering solutions for capacity planning, material availability and order readiness. 

  • Prioritize and support the planning of production activities to maintain on-time delivery - monitor execution of production orders and adjust schedules to meet the deadlines. 

  • Manage order file tracking process and ensures orders are clear to build in accordance with customer service requirements. 

  • Maintain handoff to tactical fulfillment teams to address equipment downtime, material shortages and other factory problems. 

  • Assist with identifying continuous improvement opportunities by determining root cause and developing corrective action plans. 

  • Assist with evaluating fulfillment processes to increase productivity, develop new methods of enhancing the product, and communicate to both internal and external customers. 

  • Manage inventory levels to avoid excessive inventory, inventory shortages, and/or inventory inaccuracies within defined guidelines.

  • Develop standard work instructions as it pertains to SAP processes; implement and document plans for all part number changes or usage changes. 

  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to assigned data and processes to implement solutions.

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams on planning and execution of material availability and allocation and effectively communicate supply or delivery issues.
